Hi my lovely readers, so I know I haven't posted in like two months and I'm a sucky blogger but there just hasn't been any inspiration on what to write but I thought I'd do a quick update on what's happened in the past few months.
So in June I had my end of year summer exams and that sucked because no one likes exams but June also happened to be one of the most amazing months this year. On the 7th I went to wembley to see One Direction with two of my friends and it was the most amazing day I could've asked for, I went round to my friend's house and we got the train to wembley and just spent a few hours roaming around and having some ice cream in the sun. We also met two of the funniest and sweetest girls ever at our entrance and found out they were sitting only a few blocks away from us. The actual concert was beyond amazing, 5 seconds of summer were incredible opening acts and we were on our feet for both bands (thank god I chose to wear converse otherwise my feet would've been dead haha). One direction themselves were amazing and overall it was an amazing night because I got to spend the day with my favourite people, even if I did end up with a sprained wrist (long story short, mexican waves are dangerous, especially when 90,000 people are involved).
Also, on the 12th June, my friend was so sweet and she had managed to get two tickets to an early screening to see The Fault in Our Stars and had kindly given me one of the tickets. If you know me, then you know I am OBSESSED with the book (I've read it 11 times ok) and I was so excited I got to see it a week early. The film was incredible and definitely does the book justice so if you're nervous that it won't live up to the high expectations the book set, don't you worry, it definitely meets those expectations; just be sure to bring tissues haha.
So there was that and then after exams were over, our school set up a few trips for us and one of them was going to London to see Matilda the musical. Now, I love musicals and I was super excited for this trip and it definitely did not disappoint, we had amazing floor seats in the Cambridge theatre by covent garden and the play was incredible; funny, sad, happy just everything about it was amazing.
A week later as an English trip, we went to London again and went to the globe theatre for a drama workshop then to the Regent's park outdoor theatre to see Twelfth Night. It was a lovely day and I don't really know what else to say about that haha.
The day after we went to Thorpe Park which was the trip I was most nervous about because I wasn't a big fan of roller coasters and I was VERY scared about the trip. However I can officially say that I have overcome my fears and now love all the big rides and I can't wait to hopefully go back soon.
Then the next day happened to be my brother's graduation and there isn't really much to say about it apart from the fact I am incredibly proud of him for getting trough four years of uni and getting his master's degree!
So, June was extremely busy but it was an amazing month, at the end of June, ramadan also started so I'm currently fasting and it ends next week.
I finished school two weeks ago and I don't really have anything planned for the rest of my summer holidays, hopefully just more relaxing and doing nothing.
ALSO, my friend convinced (forced) me to start a youtube channel and I've only posted one video on it but I'm considering going through with it so if you're interested, feel free to check it out and subscribe and comment any video requests. I'm not sure when I'll next be filming a video because I'm about to get my room redone so I will probably just wait until thats finished.

Review - Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua foundation
Hi guys! I know it has been forever since I
last blogged but everything has just been really hectic the past few months and
I haven’t really had the energy to blog but here I am today and I’ve decided to
review a foundation I have been using for a few months now.
I bought the vitalumiere aqua foundation in
February right before I went on a holiday as I had run out completely of my
previous foundation: Le Teint Touche Éclat by YSL and other samples of
foundation I still had lying around. I heard the vitalumiere aqua was supposed
to be a light coverage and supposed to feel really light on the skin; I’m happy
to say, it does not disappoint at all. The foundation definitely does feel
light on the skin, it feels like another layer of skin when I put it on and I’d
say it’s a light to medium coverage if you are using a brush. I use my real
techniques stippling brush and I love the end result but I’m sure you’d get the
same result with any buffing type of brush. The foundation is water based so make sure
you shake it well before applying it, I love the fact it’s water based as it
keeps my skin hydrated and it doesn’t feel dry on my skin at all or cling to any dry patches if i have any.
I use the colour 30, beige and it matches
the rest of my body really well, it’s quite a warm colour and I think
that’s the same for the whole shade range. The foundation doesn’t go very
light; mine is the third lightest I think (of the ones that were available at
my local Chanel counter, however on their website there are a few lighter
shades which are also a little on the pinker side) and it is a little on the
darker side of skin tones, and the same goes for the darker shades, it doesn’t
go very dark so I think the foundation is perfect if you’re a little more on
the tanned side of skin tones.
The vitalumiere aqua retails for £33.00, which
I think is a perfectly good price for a luxury foundation, and for as good as
the foundation is, I definitely think it is worth it. I also love the packaging as it's not glass so I don't have to worry about it breaking and making a mess everywhere. It's also really compact but still contains the normal 30ml of foundation and is perfect if you're someone who travels a lot.
The finish of this foundation is
incredible, its dewy but I only have to powder my t-zone once and I’m good to
go for the rest of the day. I think it’s the perfect summer foundation if you
want that dewy, glowing skin and don’t want to wear a heavy foundation. It also had an SPF of 15 so I find it very handy as an SPF is what I personally look for in a summer foundation. I
really do like this foundation but I’m not sure if I will repurchase it as soon
as I finish it as there are few other foundations I want to try to see if I can
find another one that is as good as this one.

High End Beauty Haul :-)
Well hey theree, long time no see, eh? yeah, sorry about that, its been a busy few weeks but I have good news, I have done a lot of shopping so I'm going to have a few posts to write about. I thought today I would post what I bought that was more high end and then I could post what I got from the drugstore, and after that I might write up a few reviews. By the way, I didn't buy all of this in one go, I got some of these things a few weeks ago. enjoyy :-)

So the first things I bought were from MAC and I got a paint pot in 'bare study' and oh my god guys, it is literally perfection. It is like a champagney shimmery shade and it is beautiful. the feel of the paint pots are amazing, they glide on so easily and smoothly. It's really easy to blend and lasts all day. MAC paint pots are all £15, which some people might say are a bit expensive, but to be honest, I've used it pretty much everyday for the past three weeks, and there isn't even a dent in it, so I know it will last me a long time.
The second thing I got from MAC was their new mascara, 'In Extreme Dimension Lash'. It's a really good mascara, and I'm someone who only likes using plastic bristle wands otherwise i feel like my lashes are really clumpy so I was happy when the wand was plastic as well. It gives me the length I want and just enough volume and doesn't clump my lashes at all. The mascara was £18 which, I think is a reasonable price for a high end mascara.
Lastly, and probably the most exciting for me that I got from MAC was my pro palette quad for eye shadows and the eye shadow 'wood-winked'. I was so so excited to get this and I thought I would get the quad instead of the duo because they were the same price and it would just be easier to have a quad palette. I bought it with some of my eid money from my parents because originally my mum was going to get it for me as my present but she said she knew she would mess it up and get the wrong thing so I just decided to get it myself. the eye shadow is the most perfect copper, brown/bronze colour ever. The palette was £6.50 and the eye shadow in pan form was £10. having a pro palette is cheaper than buying single eye shadows, because a single eye shadow is £14 where as the palette and one eye shadow all together is £16.50, so you'd be saving some money having a palette.
So, somehow yesterday when I was in Westfield with my mum, we ended up in Boots, and we, by accident ended up at the YSL counter...yeah, we both did some damage there but these are all definitely my favourite purchases. The lady that helped was super super nice and she was so helpful, I don't like buying from places when the employees aren't nice.
So the first thing I got was the 'Le Teint Touche Eclat' foundation in the shade 'B30 Beige'. The lady was so helpful, she colour matched and then applied it on me and I swear I'm not exaggerating at all when I say this but this foundation literally felt like I was putting a moisturiser on and the reason for that is because it's a gel based foundation, unlike almost all other foundation which are powder based which causes clogged pores and can make your face look powdery and cakey. It is a light coverage foundation which is exactly what I was looking for, it's my skin, but better. It was £29 which I know is pricey for a foundation but to be honest, it is so worth it and I know I will get a lot of use out of it because it is also a hydrating foundation. There will definitely be a full review of this coming up soon.
I also got the 'Touch Eclat' radiant touch brightening and concealing pen in shade '1'. originally I wanted one that was a yellow based concealer because of my dark circles, but the lady showed me that because the foundation is gel based, I can blend a little under my eyes and then use the pen to brighten my eyes and it looks more natural. The concealer doesn't crease and even with the foundation under the concealer, it doesn't feel heavy under my eyes at all. It was £24 and I know that is a lot to pay for just a concealer, but for me, I am most insecure about my dark circles under my eyes so I want a product that actually will work but not look cakey. I also have really sensitive eyes and I have to be careful with the eye makeup I buy because, you know, you kinda need your eye for seeing and stuff.
I also got two freebies, I got a free 'Terra Saharienne' bronzing powder which is worth £35, it came with the foundation because they were celebrating the one year anniversary since the release of the foundation or something like that, so they were giving away a free full sized bronzing powder with the foundation. The last thing I got was a sample size of the 'Baby Doll' mascara which is their new mascara and I was so happy about that because I wanted three thing from YSL, the foundation, the concealer and this mascara, sos now I can try the mascara and then decide if I still want it.

Summer Clothes haul :-)
Well hey there! I just want to start off by saying sorry for the lack of posts, I've had a lot going on in my life and I just haven't really been in the mood to write, but last week I did a lot of clothes shopping with my mum because I was in some serious need of more summer clothes that I could wear for both casual and formal events.
I'll start with what I got from Topshop and this was like a month ago and its the 'MOTO bleached denim jacket' and it was £48 and honestly, I don't know what I would be without, I love it so much and I throw it over the top of any outfit. The other day when I was in town with my friend I got this amazing black and white, sort of aztec pattern, midi dress, and it is honestly the most beautiful dress ever. It was £28 and for topshop, I think that was a reasonable price for a dress. It has quite a high neckline which I like and has no sleeves so i would wear a cardigan or my denim jacket. If you'd like, I could do a separate blodpost on how I style midi dresses, casual and formal. The last thing I bought from Topshop was this knee length/midi bodycon skirt that was £28 which I know is a little pricey for a skirt but it was too pretty to leave. It has different sized flowers and black and white print panels on each side and blue black and yellow flowers over the whole skirt and I just love it so much.
Then I went to debenhams with my mum and let's just say, we did some damage there...I got this beautiful blue and white aztec print midi dress (what a surprise) wiith short sleeves which is very convenient if I just need to throw something on and leave the house. It was £15 from a brand I'm not very familiar with, it was in the section with all the random brands of dresses, but the brand of this dress is called 'IZABEL London'. But yeah, I am loving that dress. And the last thing I got was this black maxi skirt from Warehouse for £17. The original price was £22 but it was 20% off on that item in debenhams. it's just a plain black flowy maxi skirt and I usually wear my white crop top t shirt from topshop with it. I just really love it and I always wear it.
Photos will be added soon I promise! But it is late and I still need to take photos of the clothes and put them on my computer and then arrange them so I thought you guys would care more about the actual post and I'll have the photos hopefully up and sorted tomorrow.
Also, great news, I now have a working computer which means when I do add photos I can position them where I want and it will be easier to to write more.

Makeup Haul :-)
Ooh. I've done a LOT of makeup shopping recently and decided it was time to write up a haul. I've been trying these products out for a few weeks so I'll be able to give you a quick review of some of them but if you want a full review on a particular product, then let me know :-) enjoy guys x
Also can I quickly say, my blog photography is really bad I know, it's because I blog on my iPad so it's pretty limited to where I put the photos, it is a work in progress though because hopefully in a few months, I'll get a laptop and be able to take photos with my good camera. But I am really sorry about the photography and sometimes lack of photos xx
I think I'll start with the high street/drugstore makeup. So I have five new products from boots and superdrug. They're mainly blushes because I've been trying to get more into them because I've always been a little scared to use them. I bought three, one of them being a cream blush. Woah. Cream blushes scared me until I got this one. I got the 'Maybelline dream touch blush' in No.6 and I think it's called berry. It's a really cute, muted pink with a lot of shimmer. I really like the consistency of the product and the colour, I feel I would like it a lot more if it didn't have as much shimmer because there's a lot of shimmer in blush, also, I feel that, in general, cream blushes suit people with more dry skin because it makes their skin look a lot more glowy, and also if you love that really glowy and dewy look. For me, I'm not scared of them anymore, I just don't feel very comfortable wearing them because I don't like the feeling of the wetness on my cheeks. But I really love the colour and it was around £5.99 from boots, which I think is quite a reasonable price for the blush. Ok, onto my other two blushes, one was a repurchase of my natural collection blush in 'peach Melba', it is literally the prettiest summery neutral colour ever, it's a really muted pinky peach and I think it's the perfect colour for your cheeks on summer if you want a day time blush. And it was only £1.99 which i think is amazing for the quality of the product. The last blush I got was actually my first ever Sleek product. Oooh. So excitinggg! I bought it in the shade 'pixie pink' which is literally the brightest pink ever..when you look at it in the pan. However, when you swatch it, it's actually a really cute summery, Barbie pink. It's just so pretty I think I'm in love! It was £4.49 when i bought it, but apparently they're usually a bit more expensive. Now briefly moving onto one of my Favourite drugstore brands, Rimmel, I am seriously loving the 'natural bronzer' in No.22 'sun bronze' it is literally the perfect colour for wanting a bronzed look. I usually just use it to do an all over bronze but when I experiment makeup looks, it's really good for contouring as well. I think it was around £4.00 but I'm not entirely sure. Also from Rimmel, I bought the 'scandeleyes waterproof kohl kajal' in No.005 'nude'. I know what you're probably thinking, how the hell can a nude eye pencil work, but trust me guys, put this on your waterline and it immediately brightens your eyes up, I don't usually wear eyeliner, so I use this and it really does help with brightening my eyes up. And that was only £2.99, so again, a pretty good bargain. Last two makeup items from boots. The 'Maybelline, The Rocket Volume Express' mascara. It really is worth the hype guys, I love it because it doesn't clump my lashes at all and really lengthens them. I boight mine when it was on offer for £5.99 but i think the usual price is £7.99. Last one guys, I bought the collection 'lasting perfection 16 hour wear concealer' because I fell for the hype, I just feel that it does nothing for my under eye circles, I don't like the consistency and I just feel it drys even my skin out. I love the coverage it gives but I feel it's just too heavy for using as an under eye concealer and it seems to dry quite quickly, making it really difficult to blend out. But it was only £4 so i want to upset with the money side, it's just i thought with all the hype, it would be a lot better. I honestly recommend if you're someone who wears more concealer than foundation, invest in a high end brand one because they really are worth it. I've only like using my Estée Lauder and MAC one.
I just wanted to quickly add in some makeup brushes, I finally decided to buy the real techniques brushes and guys, they're totally worth it. They're perfection! I bought the stippling brush which cost £11.99 and I also bought the starter set brushes which were a set of five brushes, deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, pixel point eyeliner brush, accent brush and the angles brow brush. And those cost £21.99.
Okayyy. Wow. That is a lot of shopping, don't worry guys, I haven't purchased as much high end makeup so it's only three new products and two brushes. I guess I'll start with the MAC products and the are my first MAC lipstick in the colour 'hue'. I'd not know what else to say apart from that it is perfection and the perfect colour. Just wow. All the MAC lipsticks are between £14-£15 depending if they're in a limited collection or the permenant collection. Hue is in the permenant range and it was £14, which I understand is a little pricey for a lipstick, but honestly, it really is worth it. I also bough the 'pro longwear concealer' in shade NW20. It is perfect for my under eye circles and the concealer doesn't budge. And that was £14.50 which is a reasonable price for a high end concealer. Last makeup item was the Benefit 'They're Real' mascara. I use it everyday and it just gives my lashes such length and a little bit of volume. And the small one is £9.50 and the full size is £19.95. Which i thought was a ridiculous price at first, but it really is worth it. I think I'm going to purchase the full size soon. These were in my previous post from yesterday so I'm not writing as much on these. I purchased the MAC '234' blending brush and I find it amazing for blending my eye shadows in. Which was £12.25 from the makeup store in bicestervillage but the original price is something like £17.50 which is quite expensive brush. I also got the urban decay 'good karma crease brush' it's a really good crease brush I actually use it more for blending.i didn't actually buy this, my mum's friend bought it for me randomly when she saw me looking at it which I found really sweet of her. and it was £16.
Welllll,that was a long post. I'm gonna upload it now and I'll add photos when I find the time to sketches and make sure they look good but. Think you guys deserve another post since I've left you for two months with nothing..x

Cream blushes scared me until I got this one. I got the 'Maybelline dream touch blush' in No.6 and I think it's called berry. It's a really cute, muted pink with a lot of shimmer. I really like the consistency of the product and the colour, I feel I would like it a lot more if it didn't have as much shimmer because there's a lot of shimmer in blush, also, I feel that, in general, cream blushes suit people with more dry skin because it makes their skin look a lot more glowy, and also if you love that really glowy and dewy look. For me, I'm not scared of them anymore, I just don't feel very comfortable wearing them because I don't like the feeling of the wetness on my cheeks. But I really love the colour and it was around £5.99 from boots, which I think is quite a reasonable price for the blush. Ok, onto my other two blushes, one was a repurchase of my natural collection blush in 'peach Melba', it is literally the prettiest summery neutral colour ever, it's a really muted pinky peach and I think it's the perfect colour for your cheeks on summer if you want a day time blush. And it was only £1.99 which i think is amazing for the quality of the product. The last blush I got was actually my first ever Sleek product. Oooh. So excitinggg! I bought it in the shade 'pixie pink' which is literally the brightest pink ever..when you look at it in the pan. However, when you swatch it, it's actually a really cute summery, Barbie pink. It's just so pretty I think I'm in love! It was £4.49 when i bought it, but apparently they're usually a bit more expensive. Now briefly moving onto one of my Favourite drugstore brands, Rimmel, I am seriously loving the 'natural bronzer' in No.22 'sun bronze' it is literally the perfect colour for wanting a bronzed look. I usually just use it to do an all over bronze but when I experiment makeup looks, it's really good for contouring as well. I think it was around £4.00 but I'm not entirely sure. Also from Rimmel, I bought the 'scandeleyes waterproof kohl kajal' in No.005 'nude'. I know what you're probably thinking, how the hell can a nude eye pencil work, but trust me guys, put this on your waterline and it immediately brightens your eyes up, I don't usually wear eyeliner, so I use this and it really does help with brightening my eyes up. And that was only £2.99, so again, a pretty good bargain. Last two makeup items from boots. The 'Maybelline, The Rocket Volume Express' mascara. It really is worth the hype guys, I love it because it doesn't clump my lashes at all and really lengthens them. I boight mine when it was on offer for £5.99 but i think the usual price is £7.99. Last one guys, I bought the collection 'lasting perfection 16 hour wear concealer' because I fell for the hype, I just feel that it does nothing for my under eye circles, I don't like the consistency and I just feel it drys even my skin out. I love the coverage it gives but I feel it's just too heavy for using as an under eye concealer and it seems to dry quite quickly, making it really difficult to blend out. But it was only £4 so i want to upset with the money side, it's just i thought with all the hype, it would be a lot better. I honestly recommend if you're someone who wears more concealer than foundation, invest in a high end brand one because they really are worth it. I've only like using my Estée Lauder and MAC one.
I just wanted to quickly add in some makeup brushes, I finally decided to buy the real techniques brushes and guys, they're totally worth it. They're perfection! I bought the stippling brush which cost £11.99 and I also bought the starter set brushes which were a set of five brushes, deluxe crease brush, base shadow brush, pixel point eyeliner brush, accent brush and the angles brow brush. And those cost £21.99.
Okayyy. Wow. That is a lot of shopping, don't worry guys, I haven't purchased as much high end makeup so it's only three new products and two brushes. I guess I'll start with the MAC products and the are my first MAC lipstick in the colour 'hue'. I'd not know what else to say apart from that it is perfection and the perfect colour. Just wow. All the MAC lipsticks are between £14-£15 depending if they're in a limited collection or the permenant collection. Hue is in the permenant range and it was £14, which I understand is a little pricey for a lipstick, but honestly, it really is worth it. I also bough the 'pro longwear concealer' in shade NW20. It is perfect for my under eye circles and the concealer doesn't budge. And that was £14.50 which is a reasonable price for a high end concealer. Last makeup item was the Benefit 'They're Real' mascara. I use it everyday and it just gives my lashes such length and a little bit of volume. And the small one is £9.50 and the full size is £19.95. Which i thought was a ridiculous price at first, but it really is worth it. I think I'm going to purchase the full size soon. These were in my previous post from yesterday so I'm not writing as much on these. I purchased the MAC '234' blending brush and I find it amazing for blending my eye shadows in. Which was £12.25 from the makeup store in bicestervillage but the original price is something like £17.50 which is quite expensive brush. I also got the urban decay 'good karma crease brush' it's a really good crease brush I actually use it more for blending.i didn't actually buy this, my mum's friend bought it for me randomly when she saw me looking at it which I found really sweet of her. and it was £16.
Welllll,that was a long post. I'm gonna upload it now and I'll add photos when I find the time to sketches and make sure they look good but. Think you guys deserve another post since I've left you for two months with nothing..x

May Favourites :-)

I've missed you guys so much :-( and Monthly Favourites are my favourite to write and read so I decided to come back with my May Favourites :-)
Makeup. Boo yeah
I have bought so much makeup this month it's actually ridiculous. Hehe. Oh wellll. This month I bought my first MAC products and I've been loving them but my two Favourites would have to be my Mac lipstick in 'hue'. It is actually perfection. It's a glaze and think the glazes are my favourite, they just glide on your lips so evenly and smoothly, a lot go people like the cream sheen the most, and. Love them as well, but they go on a little bit harder than a glaze but anyway, hue is such a pretty nude pink, it has no shimmer but because it is a glaze it still got a shine to it, and all MAC lipsticks smell incredible!! They literally smell like vanillaaaa. Mmmmmm. Also from MAC, I've been loving the pro longwear concealer in NW20. I have really bad dark circles under my eyes and I've been looking for a good concealer for ages and I went into MAC and asked them to help me find one and I came out with this one. It's such a good concealer and it doesn't budge. I definitely recommend it for anyone who is looking for a good concealer. Moving away from MAC, I bought this months 'ELLE' magazine and they were giving away free 'they're real' mascaras by 'benefit'. I almost flipped because I've been wanting to try it but didn't want to spend £20 on the full size in case it wasn't as good as everyone says it is, but also wasn't willing to pay £10 for the tiny one, but 'ELLE' were giving it away so I just had to get it and oh my god guys, it's actually incredible! I love it so much because it doesn't clump at all, I hate mascaras that are clumpy so I'm so please I found one I love. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a lot more length, if you want more volume, I'd say give it a try, because it may not give you as much volume as you'd like, for me it's perfect, because I need length, not volume on my lashes. Lastly for my makeup Favourites, I rediscovered a blush that I've had for ages but just stopped sing it, it's from natural collection and the colour is 'peach Melba' and I'm in love with it! It's the perfect colour for summer I think, it's a bronze colour but with a bit of peachy colours in it. And it was only £1.99!

I recommend the brushes a lot. They're definitely worth the little investment. :-)
Clothes :-)
So I went to H&M for the first time a few weeks ago and came out with two new outfits, one was vertical striped jeans, they're black and white stripes, and they really make my legs look slimmer and they're bang on trend with the monochrome and and stripes. With the jeans I wear this loose fitted off white tank top and it says across it 'I never liked you anyway'. I saw it on polyvore recently and didn't know where I could get it but I saw it and almost ran to it, it is such a wearable top and I just love the phrase on it, I feel so sassy when I wear it :-). The second outfit is a maxi dress, and it goes just above my ankles, and it's kind of dipped hem and I just love it, it's black and white, of course ;-) and its vertical stripes, but not strait stripes, it's patterned and it's so cute and I love the material.
Foods. Yum!
Ok, two foods I've been loving have been the cadburys marvelous creation chocolates, but the one with jelly popping candy and smarties. It's absolute heaven like oh my god #foodporn. Yum yum yum. And I've also been loving curiously cinnamon cereal but not with milk. They're heavenly and I love them so so so much. Mmmmm

I've got so many artists but the main ones have been paramore and Nina nesbitt. I've recently been loving paramore even more and they're just plain amazing, and Nina, I've been listening to her for around two years now and my friend and me are seeing her in October when she comes to where we live. Ahhhhhhhh. I'm so excitedddddd!!!!!
Man I've missed blogging but I have some exciting news, I'm going to try blogging everyday in July. It's going to be hard, I know, but I need blogpost ideas guysss, so tweet me or comment below
