Quick update

Hey guys!!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I've had a busy week. I came back from France on Thursday evening and that whole week I was without Internet so i couldn't post anything, not like I had any time anyway. Too busy rowing:-) I was hoping to have time to write a few more posts so I could upload them at different times without worrying about them but I have to start revising for my end of year exams that are coming up and I have an end of unit physics test on Wednesday so I've been cramming as much revision as I can on that at the moment. Ugh. I hate physics. But. Wednesday will also be one of the best days of my life because....IM SEEING ONE DIRECTION!!!!!! YAAAAAY!!! I'm so excited. Ill hopefully write a post about it if I find time :-)
Also. I have just made a twitter for my blog because people I know follow my personal and I don't really want them to know I have a blog. So for updates on my blog follow @halasbubble

March Favourites 2013

Hi! :-)
Me again!
I decided instead of doing a post on my haul I would do my march Favourites. I have written a bit of my haul but I remembered that it is now the start of April! YAY! I have a very exciting month ahead. On Thursday the 4th until the 11th I'm in the south of France for a rowing camp! I am so excited because its my first time in France and rowing is something I really love! I love having something I know I can commit to :-) and on the 17th I'm going to experience the best day of my life...IM SEEING ONE DIRECTION LIVE!!! AGHHHHH! Sorry, my inner fangirl just came out of me. Well this is awkward...
Anways, on with my march Favourites!
I have quite a few Favourites and I'm gonna break it into sections, makeup and beauty, music, clothes and food. I'm going to try my best and do this every month because I don't know about you, but I love ,on they favourite posts/videos.

Makeup yay!

There are a lot of makeup and beauty items I am absolutely loving this month! First, the 'Rimmel apocalips lip lacquers'. A lot of people rave about these and I'm gonna be one of them. I can't tell you how much I love these guys! I love the packaging, I only like using dove applicators for my lips (with a few acceptions) so I was really happy that these were the same for the lip lacquers. If you aren't aware of what I mean by lip lacquers, they are basically lipsticks in a lipgloss form. They have amazing pigmentation, and when you first put them on, they will be glossy, like a lipgloss, but as the day goes on, they become more of a lip stain and I really like that. I have two of them, no.101 celestial, a sort of muted, almost bright, pink, but also at the same time, quite nude. I also have no.600 nude eclipse and it's just your standard very nude colour. Some people might be a bit scared to try this colour out, and honestly, last year, I would've been the same, but I decided that this year, I was going to be bit more stand out with my makeup. I want to step out of my comfort zone with makeup.but yeah, love those a lot. Next up is another lip product and it was another thing I saw that a lot of people loved and it's the revlon lip butters. These had mixed reviews but I was at boots and it was 3 for 2, so, I Ended up buying 3, one in shade 075 lollipop which, from the packaging, looks like a very bright fuchsia pink, but it, along with the whole range, comes out quite sheer but still has the nice pink, fuschia colour. I also have the shade 025 peach parfait which is a really pretty peach colour and has a lot of glitter. Again, it comes out really sheer and with this one, it looks more like its just glitter on your lips but you can still make out the peachy colour in it. And last of all on the lip front is the nivea lip butter! I have it in vanilla and macadamia and oh my god guys,it smells amazing and for me, I've always had dry lips and I've tried so many lip balms but nothing works. I used to use a Nivea lip product and that worked so well but then I lost it and never had the chance to uh it again, but then I saw these and I was like 'I love Nivea and they smell good! I'm getting that!' They really help with moisturizing my lips and smell amazing. Definitely recommend those or any Nivea product to anyone who have dry lips :-). But yeah, been loving those lip products a lot!

Next up are two nail polishes and they are both Models own and I love their nail polishes! If you know me, you know I have a slight obsession with nail polish in general so it's not surprising I have nail polishes in this. So the first one I've had since the start of February and its the shade 'hedkandi beach party' and it's a really bright orange and it's a really summery colour, since in the UK we've had almost no sun, I try to cool it down by painting my black crackle nail polish over the top and it actually looks really good. The next one I purchased I think almost two weeks ago and I already love it so much! It's the models own scented 'blueberry muffin' and when I saw this, being the nail polish addict I am, I had to get it. It's a pastel blue/lavender colour and I have barely any pastel colours so I really liked this shade. But anyway, it said that it was scented and I was like 'OMG I NEED THIS IN MY LIFE' so I smelled all of them and chose this one, I got home and tried it and I was a bit disappointed when I put it on because it didn't smell and I was like 'oh well, at least it's a nice colour' but then after it had completely dried. IT SMELLED LIKE BLUEBERRY MUFFIN GUYS! I love it so much and I know it's gonna be a colour I'm gonna be using a lot. But yeah really love those nail polishes. I have two more beauty items so I'll try to get through quickly, I decided while shopping with my best friend, immy on Saturday that I really needed a face cream and she told me the simple 'kind to skin hydrating light moisturizer' was the one to get, and I love it! I know, I only got it on Saturday, but for me, it only takes a really short amount of time for me to really love something. But yeah, it's a really good moisturizer and it really does hydrate my skin and it isn't scented or anything, it's just a plain and proper cream. And I like that. Last thing is something else I got on Saturday and its the Rimmel stay matte powder, and I knew I was going to love it because Tanya burr has it and is always raving about it. And she is right. It's amazing! I have the colour 001 transparent and it's a really good powder.

Music!
Now, I'm a Directioner, so yes, I am one of those crazy fangirls, and I'm ok with that. I love them. So obviously, all the time I love their music, but this month, I have some very good songs. First is 'Radioactive' by Imagine dragons. I've only recently started liking their music mainly because I didn't know it was the who sang this song. Hehe. But yeah. Next one is 'my songs know what you did in the dark' (long title) by Fallout boy, I love love love this song. It's always playing and I'm actually listening to it right now, haha :-). The last one is 'mirrors' by Justin Timberlake. I really would like a piece of him ;-) haha, but seriously, I love this song so much! And me and my friends are always singing it.

Clothes

I've really been loving my biker jacket from Henry Holland. It's an army green and the sleeves are faux leather. It's so handy and I always throw it on before I leave the house. I think it was £44.50 on sale, but the original price was £55 and I got it from debenhams. Another item of clothing I'm loving is my 'new York city' grey tee from TOPSHOP. I think it's quite old and I saw it on polyvore and I loved it. I really love baggy tshirts so I was so glad when I found it. It was £18 which I think is pretty good for TOPSHOP and for how much I wear it. Last item, my onesie from primark. It's a Disney one and I love ittttttt. It was £13 and it's super soft

food

Food I've been loving this month has been MINI EGGS! I love mini eggs and they're just so good. If I'm honest, I'm not a huge chocolate lover, so for Easter, my parents don't get me a big chocolate egg, because I don't like them. I'm more of a sweet person. I love the malteaster bunnies though. Yummmyyyy

Well, that was a long post. Wow! But I hope you enjoyed it

I tried putting pictures so I don't know if it worked. If it does, sorry for my bad photography. When I get the chance, for the makeup, I'll do individual shots and swatches and edit this post, so keep an eye out, it's only because its almost 1:30 am here in the UK.

Love you,

Hala xoxo

Hiya! :-)

Hi guys, so basically this is post is just an intro to my blog. I've been wanting to start one for a while now and I have finally got round to doing it.
I've always loved fashion, I remember I'd go through notebooks with just design ideas, the only problem I have is that I'm rubbish at drawing and I really hope I can get better.
I guess I've always loved beauty and makeup as well but it was never a proper interest of mine until last summer, thanks to my best friend, she basically told me everything I know, and now, I have quite a collection, I'd say I have quite a bit considering I started collecting last summer and I am only 14 years old. I love makeup and I love watching YouTube videos and recreating the looks, but my passion really is fashion, I'm always buying the magazines and watching the fashion shows on TV. I hope one day I get the chance to go to one, it's my dream to go to LFW. In December, I went to clothes show live with a few of my closest friends. It was an amazing experience and the whole day was amazing. I spent all my money on makeup and I guess that's where my makeup collection started. The actual fashion show was brilliant, it wasn't a typical fashion show where the models would walk up and down and pose, it was theme and they were dancers and everything was choreographed. It was brilliant, if you love makeup and fashion, I really recommend you go. I really hope I get to go again this year.

Like I said, I'm 14 and I live in the UK, you can probably tell from my name, I'm not originally British, my family are Libyan and we are Muslims. I'm full Libyan and I'm very proud of that. I'm in year 9 and I just made my GCSE choices. I'm doing 11 because I'm doing a twilight subject. I'm doing English, English literature, biology, physics, chemistry, Maths, philosophy and R.S, Spanish, textiles, I.T and Arabic as my twilight. I'm really happy with my choices and I'm so glad I have the chance to do textiles as a GCSE.i

I should probably mention the blogs I read. These people are also youtubers. I read zoella, she's my favourite blogger and her YouTube videos are amazing. I love her so much! She does beauty and makeup blog posts. I love sprinkle of glitter, Louise. She's the funniest person ever, and she has the cutest daughter. Tanya burr, I love her as well, and I read a bit of Viviana does makeup. Check their blogs out as well as their YouTube channels!

I really hope this was an OK introduction and that you people that are reading this will stick with me. If I can, I'll do a post of a primark haul, I went a bit crazy when I went there on Saturday...I'm not very good with photos and such because I am posting from my iPad, hopefully I'll figure out  how to put photos up from my iPad so excuse me if the photos are rubbish quality. But yeah. Thank you so much for reading my first blog post and if you have any ideas of posts I could do, then please let me know, I'd love your input. Also, I'll hopefully set up a twitter just for my blog, but for now, follow my twitter @halasherif13 :-) have a great day!

Love you
Hala xoxo
